Pirate Brant!

On Saturday, Brant surprised me by coming home early from work with the announcement of some bad news.  Stepping into the office, he had this big ol' gash across a swollen right eye sustained from the thwack of a tree branch.  Trees can be vicious!  After fussing over him and making him wear a huge patch over the eye to keep it protected and still, Brant started coming up with cooler stories to tell as to how this was sustained, such as an intense brony fight.

We are very happy that he closed his eye in time, as Brant had enough fun for one day without depth perception.  We took pictures this evening and he is healing up quite nicely!  Time will tell if he gets to have a cool scar to make legends about.
